James Wilson Obituary

We bid farewell to James Wilson (Belleville, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 86. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jo Gibson (Adele) and Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Wilson); his children, Charles, Matthew (Angie), Andrew (Toni), Jennifer, Meredith and Alex (Keri); and his cousin Carol Van Hook. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, and his 9½ great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (8809 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62223). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
