James Gain Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2025, at the age of 89, James Gain of Belleville, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Gain to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marion Ruth; his father Charles Joseph (Viola); his son Douglas Gain; and his siblings, Charles "Bud" Gain and Joan Jaeckel.

He is survived by: his son Brad Gain (Carla) of Troy, IL; his daughter-in-law Deborah Gain of Swansea, IL; his grandchildren, Joshua Gain (Cindy), Jessica Spiller (Justin), Amanda Gain-Meyer (Chris Hrivnak), Adam Gain and Scott Capecchi (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Kolton, Kamden, Everett and Evelyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Service Organizations (USO), Trinity Lutheran Church, or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
