He is survived by: his siblings, Cara, Aaron, Jason, MaryJane and Thomas Hogue; his wife Cheryl; his children, Nathan, Daniel, Sarah, Sam and Joshua; his grandchildren, Antonio Mackey and Torianna Mackey; his niece Kiri; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adrian, Ruby and Braylon.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Walnut Hill Cemetery (1101 Mascoutah Ave, Belleville, IL 62220).

Memorials may be made to the family for Eric's nieces and nephews education fund.
