It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Maurice Stoeckel (Belleville, Illinois), who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Vincent Henry; his former wife Mary Lenett Anderson; and his wife Louise Hollon. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Stoeckel (Lynn) of Fuquay Varina, NC, Timothy Stoeckel (Paula) of Katy, TX and Danee Appel (Robert) of Belleville; and his grandchildren, Amy Brewer of Dayton, OH, William Stoeckel of Cary, NC, Jill Tweeten (Dave) of Wheaton, IL, Jaime Ledford (Travis) of Katy, TX, Jadyn and Cheyenne Appel of Belleville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kurrus Funeral Home (1773 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
