She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona Dill and Robert, Sr. Dill; her husband Charles F. Schmittling, Sr.; and her brother Robert Dill. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Chaput (David), Charles Schmittling, Jr. (Jo'nell), Ronald Schmittling (Elise) and Curt Schmittling (Sherry); her grandchildren, Rebecca Claxton (Timothy), Jennifer Broida (Stephen), Matthew Chaput (Jennifer Barron), Robert Schmittling, Jessica Schmittling, Andrea Lopez (Weston), Christopher Schmittling (Laura), Paige Schmittling and Sarah Schmittling; her brother Ronald Dill; and her sister-in-law Marion Schmittling. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake View Funeral Home (5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the following in Delrose's name: American Cancer Society, Tunnels to Towers, of Hospice of Southern Illinois.
