Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Arlene Agne (Belleville, Illinois), who passed away at the age of 95, on March 14, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Agne, Sr.; her sons, Leroy Agne, Jr. and Leonard Agne; her parents, James Sr. (Julia Frances) and Bedwell; her siblings, Doris Oesterle and James Bedwell, Jr.; her father-in-law August (Melinda); and her siblings-in-law, Grace Agne (Liz), Mildred Agne, Jack Oesterle, Sr., Ralph Agne (Cook), Norman Agne and Robert Agne.
She is survived by: her son Leslie Agne (Carmel); her grandchildren, Alex Agne (Stephanie), Grant Agne (Lindsay), Elisha Kiraly, Dawn Gallo, Michelle Hulbert-Agne (Joey) and Nicole Ricci (Michael); her great grandchildren, Deanna Bollinger, Adrian Agne, Lupine Hulbert and Emilia Ricci; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Bedwell, Cecelia Agne, Sandra Agne and Wanda Agne. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church (1910 W Belle St, Belleville, IL 62226).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Augustine Food Pantry.
