He was predeceased by: his father Eugene; and his uncles, Norman and Jim Wester. He is survived by: his wife Beverly "Bev" Wester; his children, Tina Nester (Greg) of Belleville, IL, Tony Wester (Amie) of Waterloo, IL and Tracy Funk (David) of Mascoutah, IL; his grandchildren, Mary, Jack Nester, Nash Wester, Charlie and FitzDavid Funk; and his siblings, Debbie Quartz (Dan) and Rick Wester (Brenda). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews; and lifelong close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church (1910 W Belle St, Belleville, IL 62226). A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, or to Althoff Catholic High School.
