He was predeceased by: his parents, Leora of Oregon and Louis Joyner; and his daughter Antoinette Blanton (Tewana) of East St. He is survived by: his children, Tanya Popoola (Adebanjo) of St. Louis, MO, Anthony Dansberry (Tracy) of St. Louis, MO, Don Luster (Tiwhisha) of South Carolina and Jeremiah Blanton of Fairview Heights, IL; his siblings, Willie Nicholson (Beverly) of Fairview Heights, IL, James Carson (Monica), Anita Taylor (Jimmy) of Edgemont, IL and Celestine of Belleville, IL; and his close friends, Frances Brown, Lisa Blanton and Kevin Butler (Angels). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
