He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Coffey and Christina Coffey (Hart); his wife Joann Coffey (Laswell); his granddaughter Mary Sue Monahan; his brother Larry Coffey; and his son-in-law Mark Cain.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Coffey (Brandy) of New Baden, Illinois, Rhonda Coffey Riley (Terry) of Belle Rive and Riki Cain (Terry Tillery) of Sumner, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jenean Hefner of Mount Vernon, Amey Heck of Sumner, Ethan Coffey of New Baden, Skyler Bittle of Mascoutah and Colin Coffey of Belleville, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Raistlyn Scott, Riley Scott, Raiden Bittle and Ilia Bittle; his sister Kay Graham (Kenny) of Mount Vernon; and his close friend Gerry Lusby of Bluford, Illinois.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Ronald's honor to Angels Cove.
