She was predeceased by: her parents, David Garrison and Wilhelmina Garrison (Geiger); her husband W. G. "Bill" Whipple; and her sisters, Helen Sailer and Alleta Hanks.
She is survived by: her children, David Whipple (Marlene), Greg Whipple, Carol Whipple, John Whipple (Angie) and Mary Wilkerson (David); and her grandchildren, Elayna Lacy (Brent), Kevin Whipple (Sarah), Jaicie Holland (Billy), Jared Whipple (Kailee), Jamin Whipple, Aaron Wilkerson (Rikki) and Alysha Suver (Caleb). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and will be accepted at the church or at Gholson Funeral Home in Mcleansboro.
