He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Heersema and Harry Heersema; and his brother Jim Heersema. He is survived by: his spouse Marcia Huntington; his children, Robert Heersema, Richard Heersema (Denise) and Bonnie Wisher (Will); his grandson Chadd Robert Heersema; his brother Harry Heersema (Marilyn); his siblings-in-law, Howard Huntington (Janet) and Joan Heersema; and also, South Holland and Beecher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
