He is survived by: his parents, Peter Douglas and Jeannette Douglas; his grandparents, John "Papou" Douglas, Tom and Dixie Ewing; his sister Gabrielle Hawkins (Grant); and his grandmothers, Elaine Douglas and Eleanor Haller. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Monetary donations can be made in Joshua's name to St. Luke's United Church of Christ.
