He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Lutz and Lester Lutz; and his wife Dorothy Bush. He is survived by: his children, Marsha Kinder (Lloyd "Digger") of Beecher City and James Aitken of Beecher City; his granddaughter Jennifer Howell (Kenny) of Beecher City, SS; and his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Liam, Everett, Wesson and Remmington.

Memorials may be made to the Beecher City Area Kluthe Center.
