We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2024, at the age of 94, Thelma Fay Julius of Beecher City, Illinois, born in Saint Elmo, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Fay; her parents, Clarence Jenkins and Effie Jenkins; and her siblings, Wanda Lovett, Velma May Donaldson and Neil Jenkins (Lawrence Jenkins).
She is survived by: her spouse Navy; her children, Ron Julius (late Vicki) of Mt. Zion, Dave Julius (Cindy) of Effingham, Earl Julius (Mary) of Pittsburgh, PA, Lou Ann Ellenburg (Mike) of Easley, SC, Rita Altman (Galen) of Effingham and Rick Julius (Lyn) of Shumway; her siblings, Jim Jenkins (Earlene) and Norma Jolly; and her siblings-in-law, Margie Jenkins and Bob Donaldson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Greenland Baptist Church for missions or to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight Effingham County.
