It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Rhodes of Beecher City, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Truman Rhodes (Ida) and Lee Gates (Ruby); his stepfather Daniel Doty Sr.; and his son Colby Rhodes. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Rhodes of Brownstown and Dawn Gates of Beecher City; his daughters, Ashley Rhodes (Mark Dunn) of Beecher City and Brittany Rhodes of Beecher City; and his siblings, Truman Rhodes (Danielle Higgs) of Beecher City, David Doty (Nicole) of Beecher City, Dale Doty (Amy) of Beecher City, Daniel Doty Jr. (Macci) of Beecher City, Chris Rhodes (Lynn) of Shelbyville, Darla Baker (Bryan) of Altamont, Julie Lewis (JR) of Flora and Wendy Rhodes of Brownstown. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
