She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Durbin and Esta Durbin (Guthrie); and her siblings, Dennis Durbin, Dorothy Seibert, Marie Kilzer, Alice Meseke, Esta Durbin and Rita Durbin.
She is survived by: her husband Keith E. Denton of St. Elmo; her children, Rodney K. Denton (Natalie) of Altamont, Valerie S. Schmitt of Highland and Melissa A. Carson (Bud) of St. Elmo; and her sisters, Ethel Moody of Chicago and Betty Springman (Bill) of Brownstown. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kaskaskia Church (1825 E 2700 Ave, Beecher City, IL 62414). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may go to Kaskaskia Church or the donor's choice.
