It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madonna Tipsword of Beecher City, Illinois, who passed away on June 8, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Phillips and Ethel Phillips (Kline); her sister Sylvia Miller; her son-in-law Stanley Durbin; and her grandson-in-law Ken Gilbert.
She is survived by: her husband Moses Tipsword; her daughter Shirley Durbin (Tipsword) of Beecher City; her grandchildren, Connie Gilbert (Bowlin) of Beecher City, Jack Bowlin (Shelley) of Beecher City and Shellie Witteborg (Tony) of Beecher City; her great grandchildren, Bridget Welter, Jordan Springer, Olivia, Jacquelynne and Charles Witteborg; her nephew Delbert Miller; and her niece Delores Ohnesorge. She is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Beecher City Kluthe Center for upkeep or to the donor's favorite charity.
