We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2022, at the age of 87, Jim Clifford Slifer of Beecher City, Illinois, born in Mode, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Slifer and Mildred Slifer (Smith); his wife Mary Slifer; his children, Thomas Slifer and Cindy Slifer; and his siblings, Ralph, Russell, Max, Kenneth and Sue.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Bryant (Bill) of Cincinnati, OH, Jean Pieper (Steve) of Stewardson and Brian Slifer (Karla) of Effingham; and his siblings, Richard, Paul, Wayne, Lila and Nancy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Effingham American Legion Post 120 and mailed to Lockart-Green Funeral Home, 302 W. Main St., Shelbyville, IL 62565.
