It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Irene Jennings of Beecher City, Illinois, born in Cowden, Illinois, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles C. Evans and Verna I. Evans (Harris); her husband Wilbert C. Jennings; her siblings, Charles, Jerry, David, John, Cecil Evans and Shirley Lee; and her stepsisters, Emma Freeman and Naomi Carr.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tina Gist (Doug) of Pulaski, Teresa Shepherd of Aurora, CO, Tammy Dawson (Brian) of Castle Pines, CO, Mackenzie Wienke (Jud) of Tuscola and Joshua Jennings (Kelly Knoth) of Louisville, KY; her great grandchildren, Emma Wienke, Brecken Wienke, Cooper Wienke and Mason Wienke; her sister Ruth Ann Childress of Shelbyville; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Evans of Beecher City and Ray Lee of Riverton.
Memorials may be made in Kate's name to the American Cancer Society or HSHS St. Anthony's Foundation-Hospice.
