Barbara Ann (Hutson) Putnam Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the loss of our loved one, Barbara Putnam of Beecher City, Illinois. She was born Barbara Ann Hutson in Yale, Illinois on November 15, 1940 to parents Max & Reva. Barbara married the love of her life, John Putnam on May 11th, 1958. They were the picture perfect love story. For 63 years Barb and John stood side by side, raising 5 children, watching all their grandchildren grow and being
blessed with great grandchildren.
Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a truly beautiful person inside and out. At 7:38 p.m. on December 7, 2020, at the age of 80, surrounded by her loving family she left this world. The depth of loss we feel is unmeasurable, but we feel blessed with all the time we were given with her.
Barbara is survived by : her husband John Putnam of BeecherCity; her children, John Bradley Putnam (Paula) of Cropsey, Matthew Wayne Putnam (Jeanine) of Altamont, Peter Ross Putnam (Tasha) of Beecher City, Robin Lee-Ann Habing (Jason) of Effingham and Sally Beth Henson (Jeff) of Flora; her grandchildren, Amber Burry (Leon), Holly Lewis (Brian), David Steben (Kaiti), Christopher Henson (Mariah), Travis Henson, Ronnie Putnam (Kaylyn), Matthew Joseph Putnam, John Elliott Putnam, Jacob Putnam (Stephanie) and Addy Putnam; and her great grandchildren, Mia, John, Emma, Carley, Chloe, Jasper, Emily, Anna, Evelyn and Layla.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Wayne and Reva Jane Hutson (Ellison); her siblings, Max Lee Hutson, Larry Dean Hutson, LaVetta Mendenhall, Donna Wilson and Peggy Kouns; and her sons, Daniel Mark and David Michael Putnam.
