He is survived by: his spouse Boguslawa of Darien; his children, Grzegorz Bartkiewicz (Maria) and Magda Walsh (Anthony); his grandchildren, Magdalena, Anna, Katarzyna Bartkiewicz, Madison and Austin Walsh; and his sibling Danuta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
