She was predeceased by: her parents, John, Sr. Hassebrock and Anna Hassebrock (Maxheimer); her husband Wilbur W. Ruwe; her siblings, Harold Hassebrock (Ruth), John Hassebrock (Mabel), Loren Hassebrock (Erna), Vernon Hassebrock (Marcella), Anna Roos (Charles), Alma Stoll (Everett), Ethel Hein (Fred), Melvin Hassebrock (Ann Louise) and Ray Hassebrock; and her sister-in-law Muriel Hassebrock.

She is survived by: her children, Alan Ruwe of Maroa, Carol Goebel (Steve) of Shelbyville, Cathy Anderson (John) of Mt. Zion and Aldon Ruwe (Susan) of Argenta; her grandchildren, Chad Ruwe (Beth), Brad Ruwe (Lori), Ryan Ruwe (Elaine), Todd Goebel (Julie), Drew Goebel (Amanda), Greg Goebel (Maria), Cally Anderson, Casey Anderson (Amanda), Cyle Anderson (Shannon), Amy Ruwe, Alex Ruwe (Hannah) and Allison Ruwe; her brother Glen Hassebrock of Decatur; and her sister-in-law Dolly Hassebrock of Mt. Pulaski. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
