He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Riley and Helen DeWitt Riley; his son Terry Lee Riley; and his brother DeWitt Riley. He is survived by: his wife Jean of Beardstown; and his children, David Riley (Kathy) of Beardstown, Tim Riley of Lincoln, Virgil Riley, Jr. of East Moline, Angela Rivera (Manuel) of Beardstown and Kelly Carapia (Fidel Sanchez) of Beardstown. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
