He is survived by: his wife Carol Shutts of Virginia; his children, Mark Shutts, Nick Shutts and Catherine (Derek); his former wife Patty Hibbeler; his grandchildren, Abella, Laila, Elin and Haley; and his stepsons, Justin Savage of Virginia and Gary Savage of Florida.
