He was predeceased by: his father Lyle O. Taylor, Jr.; his stepmother Shirley Taylor; and his brother Lyle Taylor III. He is survived by: his mother Doris Moore of Beardstown; his spouse Howard Stephen Dyche; his parents-in-law, Mike Dyche (Joyce) of Rushville and Maxine Hester of Frederick; his brother Douglas Taylor (Vonnie Stambaugh) of Beardstown; his brother-in-law Mike Dyche (Angie) of Rushville; his niece Kaitlyn Bagley; his nephews, Hunter Taylor and Keaton Dyche; and his sons, Jasper and Romeo. He is also survived by great niece and two great nephews; numerous aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Culbertson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
