It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Kight of Beardstown, Illinois, born in Salem, Illinois, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherrill Leckrone and Floretta Busenhart Leckrone. She is survived by: her husband Larry Kight of Beardstown; her children, Vickie Kight of Effingham, Jene Swan (Quentin) of Beardstown, Robert Kight (Tami) of Newburgh, IN and Richard Kight (Amy) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Deidre Tolbert (Clint), Jackie Souders (Matt), Whitlee Woods (Craig), Chloe Kight, Blayne Swan (Nicole), Lauren Kight, Mattie Swan (Brock Holmes) and Jackson Kight; her great grandchildren, Jet, Landon, Dawson Tolbert, Taylor, Emerson, Ayla Mae Souders, Jordy Woods, Grace, Lilly Swan, Elsa and Violette Holmes; and her siblings, Shirley Brietz (John) and John Leckrone (Becky). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
