He is survived by: his mother Carol Hudson Schwalb; his wife Lisa Ann Schwalb of Beardstown; his daughter Karis Van Meter (Dan) of Concord; and his siblings, Tammy Weir (Ken) of Oregon and Tim Schwalb (Mysti) of Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
