He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle and Mabel Parks Taylor, Sr.; his former spouses, Shirley Marion and Shirley Taylor; his son Lyle Taylor III; and his siblings, Kenny O'Hara, James, Robert, Ivan, Mervin, Floyd, Jerry Taylor and Shirley Applegate.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Taylor of Beardstown; his sons, Rick Taylor (Steve Dyche) of Beardstown and Douglas Taylor (Vonnie Stambaugh) of Beardstown; his grandchildren, Keaton, Hunter Taylor, Phillip and Heather Stambaugh; his great grandchildren, Gabby, Braden and Anna; and his siblings, Keith O'Hara, Raymond Taylor, David Taylor, Lloyd Taylor, Melvin "Bud" Taylor, Hazel Merrick and Mary Bell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
