He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie L. Ragan and Freida McClure Ragan; his wife Ruth Imogene Avery; and his siblings, Gene Ragan and Colleen Ragan.
He is survived by: his children, Larry LeRoy Ragan (Virginia) of Gladstone, MO, Delores Colleen Tollefson (Wesley) of Ottawa, IL, Steven Dudely Ragan (Patricia) of Tyler, TX and Michael David Ragan of Beardstown. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
