He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessley, Sr. Fawcett and Bertha Bellville Fawcett; and his stepchildren, Bruce Smith and Janice Jamison. He is survived by: his wife Jane Boehl; his children, Annette Hopkins of Industry, Sandy Fishel of Roodhouse, Kim "Jenna" Friedhoff (Greg) of Chaplin and Lessley "Wayne" Fawcett of Industry; his stepson Steve Smith (Debra) of Beardstown; and his brothers, Bob Fawcett (Mary) of Havana and Paul Fawcett (Mary) of Frederick. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
