She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Coats and Willia Connor Coats; and her siblings, Dorothy Emerick, William, Milton (Gabby), Herbert, Jack, Landon and Harry Coats.
She is survived by: her husband William Lewis "Bill" Fishel; her son David Coats (Reeda) of Beardstown; her grandson Adam Coats; her great grandchildren, Evalee Joyce, Ryann, Blake and Loren; her brothers, Rob Coats of Texas, Russell Coats of Beardstown and Jim Coats (Vickie) of Beardstown; and her sisters-in-law, Lee Ann Coats of Beardstown and Bea Coats of Beardstown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
