In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack C. Hatfield and Margaret Brady Hatfield; his wife Karen Louise McCulley; his daughter Denise Dyche; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry "Tad" Gregory and Dave Rochester.
He is survived by: his children, James "JC" Hatfield (Alaina) of Beardstown and Holly Dyche of Tucson, AZ; his sisters, Carol Gregory of Meredosia, Mary Ellen Coy (Mike) of Kaiser, MO and Nancy Rochester of Virginia; and his pet Rocco. He is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colwell Memorial (515 S State St, Beardstown, IL 62618). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
