It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Hamilton of Beardstown, Illinois, who passed away on July 8, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hamilton and Dovie Wilson Hamilton; his wife Glenda Alford; and his siblings, Robert Hamilton, Betty Hankins and Rosemary Hamilton.
He is survived by: his sons, Jack A. Hamilton (Gretchen) of Vandalia, MO, Scott Hamilton (Debra) of Springfield, Gary Hamilton (Dana) of Rushville and Joe Hamilton (Ryan) of Chicago; his grandchildren, Casey, Kristi, Chad Hamilton, Abby Fidler (Joe), Adam Hamilton (Ana), Holly Schmitz (Andrew), Kyle, Beck Harris, Carson and Drew Hamilton; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Dexter, Merrick, Ellie and Scarlett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
