She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Lewis and Ruby Worley Lewis; her siblings, Thelma Thomas, Marjorie Parker, Clifford Lewis and Eugene Lewis; and her grandchildren, Alfred B. Brown and Jennifer Hagerty.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Brooks; her children, Alfred L. Hagerty of Beardstown and Mary Elizabeth Hagerty of Independence, MO.; and her sister-in-law Jessie Lewis of Quincy. She is also survived by her four children; several nieces and nephews; many cousins; nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
