He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgie Elma (Walbert) and George Gibbons; and his siblings, George Leslie "Sonny" Gibbons and Mildred Clement. He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Gibbons; his sons, Paul Gibbons of Harvest, AL, Scott Gibbons (Janice) of San Jose, CA and Mark Gibbons (Cheryl) of Jacksonville, IL.; his grandchildren, Nathan, Rachel (Logan Gibbons), Kimberly (Melissa Gibbons) and Zachary (Haley Gibbons); and his brother Jerry Gibbons.
