It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dollie Lewis of Beardstown, Illinois, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dollie Lewis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Gabbert and Rose Gabbert; her husband Buck Lewis; her son Tom Lewis; and her sister Goldie Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Lewis of Beardstown and Sue Gerdes (David) of Beardstown; her grandchildren, Amanda Wellenkamp (Shawn), Casey Gerdes (Carmen) and Rich Dwyer (Ronda); her great grandchildren, Kaylee Krems (Dylan Patterson), Tyson Krems, Rylan, Brayden Wellenkamp, Jasmine and Caden Gerdes; and her great great grandchild Charlotte Patterson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current health situation, face masks will be required and social distancing guidelines should be followed.
Memorials have been suggested to Children's Dyslexia Center of Springfield, Illinois, Prairie Heart Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
