We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Jean Deaton of Beardstown, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Hedrick and Mary Agnes McManus Hedrick; her husband Victor Eugene Deaton; and her siblings, Lucille Brewer, Paul Downing, John Downing, Robert Downing and Charles Hedrick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Barnett (Michael) of Beardstown and Donna Deaton of Mount Aukum, CA; her grandchildren, Laura Barnett of Beardstown, Jack Barnett (Michelle) of Hew Hope, MN and Cheryl Barnett (Abi Cowser-Barnett) of Carterville; and her great grandchildren, Philla Cowser, Pearl Barnett and Frankie Barnett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic physical distancing is encouraged at the cemetery.
