With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert C Darsnek Jr. of Beach Park, Illinois, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2024 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Darsnek Sr.; his sister Barbara Darsnek; his nephew Matthew Merritt; his great-nephew Alexander McHugh; and his great-niece Pressley McHugh.
He is survived by: his mother Helen Darsnek (VanKuiken) of Beach Park, IL; his sister Katherine DuFour of Waukegan, IL; his niece Rachel Johnson of Beach Park, IL; and his nephews, Michael McHugh (Julie) of Buffalo Grove, IL, Shawn McHugh (Rachel Tienharra) of Trevor, WI, Ryan McHugh of Jacksonboro, SC, David Johnson (Ashley) of Covington, GA and Christopher Johnson of Lakemoor, IL. He is also survived by 12 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in his name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or any pet shelter.
