He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Skaggs and Candy Margaret Skaggs (Hoskins); his siblings, Leslie, Cole and Syble Baker; his wife Barbara; his son Michael; his grandson Donald; and also Betty Mae.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Robinson and Debora Losey. He is also survived by 24 Grandchildren, 35 Great-grandchildren, and 21 Great-great grandchildren.
