She was predeceased by: her parents, Liddie Gilmore and Olus Gilmore; her brother William O. Gilmore; and her husband Herman S. Holcomb. She is survived by: her brother Otis; her children, Rebecca Thorn (Charles) and Herman Wade Holcomb (Donna); and her grandchildren, Vicki Thomas, Valerie Thorn, Sherry Hoselton (Chris), Shelley Thorn (Pat) and Rhonda Tyriver (Joe). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in her name to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
