He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Layne and Florence Layne (Niemi); and his sister Linda Layne. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Longtin; his sister Lisa Layne Seccombe (Jeffrey); and his nieces and nephews, Lindsay Weis (Tyler) and Cody Seccombe.
