We bid farewell to William Frank Hankes of Batavia, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 1, 2024 at the age of 76. William Frank touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his cousin Bobby Yetter; his siblings, John and Roberta Olshansky; his brother-in-law Melvin; his siblings, Jimmy and Kathleen; his wife Mimi; his children, Jennifer, Pete (Jen) and Sam (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Ben, Logan, Reese, Grant, Evan, Lainey, Hailey, Beau and Eliza; and his sister Mary Ann Lindquist (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moss Family Funeral Home - Batavia (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510). A wake was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (2300 Main St, Batavia, IL 60510).
