He is survived by: his wife Lee Hough; his children, Bill Jr of Batavia, Elizabeth Hough Gill of Batavia and Jennifer Hough Born (Jason) of Sugar Grove; his grandchildren, Jonathan Gill, Amanda Gill, Rylee Born and Joseph Born; and his brother Leonard Hough of Palm Harbor, Florida..

“I took care of Bill for at least 6 years and became so fond of him, I had a picture of the two of us on my wedding day It is in my album. The last time I talked to Bill it was in 1952. After spending 4 years with my husband in the Air Force I lost track of him and just found the information of his death . I loved that little guy and have many pictures of him.
