With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Lou Smith of Batavia, Illinois, born in Geneva, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Foland and Ruth Foland (Hassler); her children, Karie Reach (James), Scott Smith (Carla) and Steve Smith; her grandchildren, Jenae Reach, Shanna Cora, Dustin Reach, Kassie Reach, Brandon Smith, Mike Katzenbach, Kim Katzenbach and Kristy Nolan; her sisters, Linda Maves (Kurt) and Marlo McGhie (Bill); her husband Ronald G. Smith; and her brother Richard "Dick" Foland. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to COVID-19 occupancy mandates the funeral services will be held private Moss Family Funeral Home.
