He was predeceased by: his parents, John James and Lorraine James; and his brother Michael W. James. He is survived by: his wife Dee; his stepchildren, Matt Stribling (Mandy) and Katherine "Kaki" Stribling; his grandchildren, Austin Stribling, Chase Stribling and Kara Stribling; his siblings, Valery James Kehoe and Jeffery (Marla); his niece Angela Stallman Miller; and his nephews, Michael Kehoe (Kacey), Trent James and Darby Kehoe.
Despite a diagnosis of Early onset Alzheimer's, he fought to maintain his active lifestyle and contact with close friends and family.
