He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathryn; his children, Peter (Sarah), Kevin and Michelle Canniff (Karm Wahab); his grandchildren, Ella, Jack, Noah Canniff, Uma and Reya Wahab; and his siblings, John Canniff (Peggy), Martin Canniff (Carole), Daniel Canniff (Georgia) and Martha Smith (Jim). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
