It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Hillier of Batavia, Illinois, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schmitt and Clara Schmitt (Thul); her husband Warren Hillier; her son Wade Jotham; her stepson Larry Hillier; and her sisters, Evelyn Schmitt and Bernice Schmitt.
She is survived by: her former husband William Jotham; her daughter Linda Johnson (Dennis) of West Chicago, Illinois; her granddaughters, Tina Johnson and Jenny Tracey (Matt); her great grandchild Katelynn Tracey; and her stepchildren, Russell Hillier (Susan), Michael Hillier (Dianna), Dianne Gray (Brad) and Joanne Wade (Mike). She is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
