She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Balles and Kathryn L. Balles (Roetker); her daughter Claire Lichtenberger; her brother Jack Balles; her sister-in-law Mary Balles; and her niece Susan Stoltzman.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Liz" Millett (Tim) and Matt Lichtenberger; her granddaughter Alexandra Millett; and her sister Jan Lewis (Dick). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
