It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille Amy Thomas of Batavia, Illinois, born in Sublette, Illinois, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amy Miller and Lewis E. Miller; her brothers, Roger Miller and Lewis L. Miller; and her son-in-law Dennis DeWitte.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Thomas (Cathy), Holly DeWitte (Michael Stoffa) and Tim Thomas (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Shawn DeWitte (Melissa), Aimee Smith (Brandon), MacKinzie DeWitte, Rebecca Caprio (Andy Rial), Ian Thomas (Angela), Benjamin Thomas (Alyssa), Adam Thomas (Katie) and Tory Thomas. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Lucille's name may be made to Northern Illinois Food Bank or the Holmstad's Benevolent Fund.
