He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Swanson and Cecilia Swanson; his wife Janet; his daughter Bonnie Watterson; and his grandsons, Ben and Billy Watterson.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Theis (Todd), Mike Peterson (Sylvia) and Kris Peterson; his grandchildren, Jacque Bombeck and Alex Theis Chloe Raleigh; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Madison, Liam, Zoe, William, Oddy and D'vi.
